Chaz Misuraca is a Canadian National Team Paraclimbing athlete, Team Canada Blind Hockey player, and father of two. As an adult, Chaz lost his sight, forcing him to redefine challenges into opportunities and find new, creative ways to accomplish things that used to be routine and mundane.

Chaz was the first visually impaired climber to represent Canada at an international event (World Championships in 2022). Chaz now trains and competes on the international scene as an elite para-athlete full-time.

Like many of his fellow visually impaired climbing athletes, Chaz relies on communication with a ground-based caller (guide) to navigate his way up the climbing wall. Using the Sena Expand Mesh headset for rock climbing provides the audio quality, range, ease of connectivity, reliability, and hands-free functionality that helps Chaz and other climbers perform at their best.
