Warranty Exclusions
Reasons for Limited Liabilities
If you do not return the product after purchasing it, you relinquish all rights to liabilities, loss, claims, and claims for reimbursement of expenses (including attorney's fees). Therefore, Sena will not be liable for physical injury, death, or any loss or damage of transportation means, possessions, or assets that belong to you or third parties that may have occurred while you use the product. Further, Sena will not be liable for any substantial damage not related to the product’s condition, environment, or malfunction. All risks associated with the product depend entirely on the user, not the initial purchaser or a third party. The use of the product may violate local or national laws. In addition, be aware that the correct and safe use of the product is entirely your responsibility.
Limitation of Liability
TO THE FULL EXTENT ALLOWED BY LAW, SENA EXCLUDES FOR ITSELF AND ITS SUPPLIERS ANY LIABILITY, WHETHER BASED ON CONTRACT OR TORT (INCLUDING NEGLIGENCE), FOR INCIDENTAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, INDIRECT, SPECIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES OF ANY KIND OR FOR LOSS OF REVENUE OR PROFITS, LOSS OF BUSINESS, LOSS OF INFORMATION OR DATA, OR OTHER FINANCIAL LOSS ARISING OUT OF OR IN CONNECTION WITH THE SALE, INSTALLATION, MAINTENANCE, USE, PERFORMANCE, FAILURE, OR INTERRUPTION OF ITS PRODUCTS, EVEN IF SENA OR ITS AUTHORIZED RESELLER HAS BEEN ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES, AND LIMITS ITS LIABILITY TO REPAIR, REPLACEMENT, OR REFUND OF THE PURCHASE PRICE PAID, AT SENA’S OPTION. THIS DISCLAIMER OF LIABILITY FOR DAMAGES WILL NOT BE AFFECTED IF ANY REMEDY PROVIDED HEREIN FAILS OF ITS ESSENTIAL PURPOSE. IN ANY CASE, THE TOTAL COMPENSATION LIABILITIES OF SENA OR ITS SALES AGENTS SHALL NOT EXCEED THE PRICE PAID FOR THE PRODUCT BY THE PURCHASER.

Warranty Service
To obtain the product warranty service, send the defective product, at your expense, to us or the seller along with proof of purchase (a receipt that shows the purchase date, a product registration certificate, and other relevant information). When you send the product, take necessary measures to protect it and enclose the whole package as it was at purchase. We will provide free of-charge repair or replacement device for the defective product if we can find a defect and confirm such defect is under the product warranty and during the warranty period.
Warranty Q&A
-
For any Warranty claim, a valid Proof of Purchase is required. A valid proof of purchase is a document that proves an individual has purchased a Sena product from a Sena retailer or dealer. It is required for warranty claims or to confirm original ownership.
Examples of valid proofs of purchase include:
- A dated sales receipt from a Sena retailer or dealer. The receipt must show the product description and price.
- A dated official email from a Sena online retailer or dealer confirming the purchase and shipment of product. The confirmation email must show the product description and price.
- An order number from the Sena store website.
Some examples of a non-valid Proof of Purchase are:
- The UPC code from the box.
- An image of the box in hand.
- Receipts from non-authorized Sena dealers.
- Receipt from any online auction sites, wholesale clearance stores, or liquidation stores.
-
If you purchased directly from the Sena store website it may still be possible for us to locate your purchase record using the email address or phone number that was used to place the order. This information would allow us to verify the details of your purchase and proceed with the necessary steps for your warranty claim.
If you purchased from a Sena retailer or dealer, contact the retailer or dealer and request a copy of your purchase receipt.
If the product was a gift, we suggest you ask the gifter to provide a purchasing receipt.
-
Sena must verify with certainty that the product falls within the applicable warranty period and that the product was purchased from an authorized Sena dealer.
-
The serial number helps us validate your warranty claim. It allows us to confirm the specific part number of your product and its manufacturing date. This information ensures that we can provide you with the appropriate service and support for your product.
-
Sena requests the item(s) to be sent back for internal testing of the defective claim and for the purpose of improving our products. Once the returned product is received and verified, a repair service or replacement order will be processed. This helps us maintain the highest quality standards for our products and provide better service to our customers.
-
Unfortunately, Sena does not offer advance ship replacements.
-
If your replacement product is not working, it is still covered by warranty for the remainder of the original product's warranty period or for thirty (30) calendar days upon receiving, whichever is longer. This ensures that you receive a functional product and are protected against any issues that may arise shortly after receiving the replacement.
-
Sena is not responsible for product returns without a generated RMA number. An RMA number ensures that your product is delivered to the correct Sena department and is properly processed for replacement or a refund. Please do not return product(s) to Sena without an RMA number.
-
Please refer to the Warranty Period Chart above.
All new products will have the warranty periods listed above. Products discontinued, “end of life”, will be replaced with the same product, if available. Otherwise, it will be replaced with a product of equivalent or better functionality.
-
Sena exclusively extends repair or replacement services to Sena devices within the manufacturing warranty period. For devices outside the warranty, repair services may not be available. However, customers can explore third-party repair options or consider upgrading to a newer model. Our customer support team is here to help with any questions.
